Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an experienced freight forwarder for our client in Gothenburg. Do you have previous experience in freight forwarding by sea, preferably with exports? Are you ready to start the new year with an exciting new position? Then keep reading!

The role involves direct recruitment for our client in Gothenburg. Here, you will encounter a workplace with a high ceiling and a very familiar atmosphere. You will be in cozy and airy premises with very good connections and be challenged daily in your role. Working hours are daytime, office hours with flexibility.

Main job responsibilities:

• Planning and booking of sea transports.
• Daily contact with suppliers, customers, and partners, where a natural part of your work also includes upselling.
• Responsibility for the entire process from booking to delivery of goods.
• Deviation management.
• Handling of customs and invoicing issues.

Your Profile

In order for you to succeed in the role with our client, we believe that you have at least 3 years of experience working as a freight forwarder and experience in working with sea transports. In an ideal world, you have also worked with exports and in the CargoWise 1 system. In addition, you see rapid changes as a positive challenge and are flexible in your approach to work. Communicating with multiple contact points is no problem for you, and upselling comes naturally to you as you can easily understand and meet your customers' needs.

Requirements for the position:

• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding and relevant education.
• Have experience in working with sea transports.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both in writing and speaking.
• Have good computer skills (Office package and business systems).

Merits for the position:

• Experience with exports
• Experience working in the CargoWise 1 system
